I just had my "Really?!?" moment of the day! For those of you unfamiliar with what a "Really?!?" moment is, I stole the idea from my cousin, Devin, who blogs her moment on a daily basis and it's hilarioius! But I digress. A "Really?!?" moment is when something happens or someone says something so outrageous or unbelievable that you're astounded by the level of ridiculousness and it makes you say "Really?!?".
So, I took a late lunch today and went to KFC for some grilled chicken, which I just chowed down on and it was delish! Anyway, the weather here today is rather dreary; it's fairly cool and raining. As I'm returning to work, driving down the road with the airport on one side of me and what I call row houses on the other, I see ahead of me a man walking down the side of the road in the rain. Nothing that unusual there, is it? It appears he is holding something rather large over him to shield him from the rain but I can't make out what it is until I am right behind him and about to go around him. He's using a large stuffed red chair (very much like the one below) as an umbrella. I mean, REALLY?!? Wow!
I tried so hard to get a pic of him but with driving and trying to avoid traffic and with it being so wet, I was unable to do so. I even turned around and went back to try for another shot but alas, he had set the chair down on the front porch of one of the row houses and gone inside. :-(
I've seen people use newspapers, clothes, books, Wal-Mart bags, but never a CHAIR!!!
